Hundreds gather outside City Hall for Candlelit Vigil

Over 300 people from all faiths and backgrounds gathered outside City Hall to pay their respects to the victims and families of the Peshawar school tragedy. Braving the stormy weather, children, women and men, including members of all political parties united in a sombre candlelit vigil yesterday at 7pm. The terrible events in Peshawar shocked the world to the core after the Taliban attacked a school in Peshawar, Pakistan killing 141 students and teachers. Candle light vigil for the victims of the Peshawar school massacre

A candle light vigil for the 151 slain children and teachers in the Peshawar massacre is to be held in Centenary Square, Bradford tomorrow (Thursday, December 17) at 7pm. Unemployment in Bradford East cut by 40% since 2013

Unemployment in Bradford East has fallen again in November to 3,472, which represents a 40% cut since February 2013 and is at its lowest level for nearly six years since January 2009. Bradford East MP, David Ward, has today warmly welcomed the release of November’s official unemployment statistics for his constituency, which shows that those claiming job seekers allowance has fallen by 186 people since October 2014 and tumbled 1,450 people in a year to 3,472.
