Leeds gets set for festive sing-a-long switch-on

Sand sculptures celebrate Bradford

Bradford – Nine beautiful sand sculptures are being carved in separate Bradford city centre locations by celebrated local artists from Sand In Your Eye. Lantern Parade set to Light Up Lister Park

Saltaire in line for award as ‘England’s Greatest Place’

The UNESCO World Heritage site of Saltaire has been chosen as a finalist in a competition to find England’s Greatest Place. The competition, run by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), has whittled down 200 hundred original entries to just 10 finalists. The judges, made up of senior planning consultants, representatives of non-Government organisations, and academics, voted Saltaire as The Greatest Place in Yorkshire.
