£1,114 fine for West Bowling fly-tipper

Bradford Magistrates this week slapped a £1,114 penalty, including fines and costs, on a 23-year-old man caught fly-tipping on land at West Bowling. The defendant was observed by police dumping waste on land at the junction of Parkside Road and Birch Lane. Officers took his details and passed on the information to Bradford Council’s Environment Enforcement Team who followed up the case and began a prosecution. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated this Bonfire Night

Residents are being asked to play their part in keeping the district safe as Bonfire Night approaches.
