A group of more than 35 cross party British Parliamentarians led by Bradford West MP  Naz Shah, have today co-signed a letter asking for the Prime minister of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) – Farooq Haider Khan – to complete and expand the diaspora support initiative that he has been working on in Kashmir. The government of Azad Kashmir have recently legislated for a “Commission for Overseas Kashmiri’s” based in Azad Kashmir. The owner of a Dewsbury based takeaway business has been convicted for fly tipping. Mr Aziz, who owns Rajas, 676 Huddersfield Road, Dewsbury, WF13 3HP, was found guilty of 3 waste offences including fly tipping waste at Bradbury Street, Ravensthorpe. Pensioner Sentenced To 26 Years For Historic Sex Offences

A 78-year-old has been sentenced to more than a quarter century in prison for multiple historic serious sexual offences against young victims in the Wakefield District.  Terence O’Reilly (78) from South Elmsall was sentenced to 26-years in prison at Leeds Crown Court on Monday January 16 after pleading guilty to 17 sexual offences including six rape offences against a child. Thirteen Charged Following Keighley Drugs Operation

Police have charged 13 men with drugs supply offences following an operation in Keighley.   The charges follow a series of warrants carried out at addresses across the town in the last week. £20,000 Seized Drugs Cash Will Help Communities

More than £20,000 in cash recovered during a drugs warrant in Bradford has been forfeited to the courts. Officers recovered £23,332 in cash while executing the warrant at a house in Cecil Avenue in February 2013.
