Twenty Two Charged Following Week of Drug Warrants

Police investigating the supply lines of Class A drugs in Bradford District have charged 22 people. The 20 men and two women were all arrested and charged with offences related to the supply of Class A drugs last week. They were bailed to appear before magistrates next month. The arrests took place during a week of warrants across the district and into other areas such as Leeds and Kirklees. “If I didn’t work, I got beaten up”

September saw the latest round of my Safer Communities Fund give out hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of grants for initiatives to increase community safety and prevent crime. Over £217,000 was distributed to 42 community projects who will work across West Yorkshire. Of the 42 groups, 8 will specifically deliver their projects in Bradford, sharing £45,000 of funding between them.
