Bradford College will hold an open evening on Thursday, May 26, to showcase the options open to 16 to 18 year olds including school leavers.
The Next Steps Open Evening runs from 5.30pm to 7.30pm in the College’s David Hockney Building on Great Horton Road.
Careers advisors will be on hand to give guidance on what you can study and staff from the Student Services Team will be around to explain what financial support might be available, such as bus passes.
Details of the free summer activities the College will be running will also be available.
Bradford College will be putting on a number of short courses over the summer aimed at 16 to 18 year olds who are interested in going to college but are unsure of what it involves or what courses to do.
The taster courses are free but places have to be booked. And with demand high, anyone interested is encouraged to book early.
Short courses are available in a range of subjects including music, performing arts, TV production, catering, construction trades, nail art and mechanical engineering.
Bradford College is one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the country offering GCSEs, AS and A-Levels, NVQs, diplomas, BTECs and apprenticeships.
