UCI Road World Championship roadshows in the district

Bradford is gearing up to host two races in the 2019 UCI Road World Championships in September and residents and businesses across the district will be able to find out all they need to know about this prestigious cycling event at two roadshows.

The roadshows – both of which are free of charge – are delivered by event organisers Yorkshire 2019 in partnership with Bradford Council and are the perfect way to learn all about the Championships, and how residents, businesses and community organisations can get involved.

The sessions will include a short presentation with detailed information on the various routes, advice on how people can make the most of this truly global event, as well as the chance to ask any questions they may have.

There will also be advice around brand guidelines and how local businesses and communities can make the most of the opportunity.

The first roadshow takes place in Bradford city centre on Thursday 18 July at St George’s Hall. Registration will be from 5pm with the event taking place from 5.30pm until 7.30pm.

The second roadshow will take place in Baildon at Hollins Hall Hotel on Monday 22 July. Registration will be from 6.30pm, with the event taking place from 7pm until 9pm.
