BRADFORD STUDENTS CAN BAG A BARGAIN AT #BROADWAYLOCKIN THIS THURSDAY

New and returning students are invited to visit The Broadway Shopping Centre this Thursday (22 September) to be a part of the city’s very first Student Lock-In.

The #BroadwayLockIn will run between 6pm and 9pm, with a number of the centre’s top brands and restaurants offering Bradford’s students the very best discounts so they can pick up everything they need for the year ahead at a fraction of the cost.

Popular brands including H&M, Footasylum, Topshop, Superdry, Office and River Island are all taking part in the event, with some stores offering up to 25% discount exclusively for students who attend.

As well as the opportunity to bag bargains from the most fashionable brands in Bradford, the #BroadwayLockIn will also play host to live DJs and competitions. From freebies to photo booths, The Broadway will be buzzing with activity on the 22 September.

Broadway’s general manager, Ian Ward, says: “It’s so exciting that the student lock-in is finally coming to Bradford. We want to welcome new and returning students into their academic year with a shopping experience unlike anything else in Bradford. They’ll be the only people in the city eligible to claim deals from brands they already know and love, and this the lock-in will be their first introduction to Bradford’s first class retail and leisure offering.”

“Bradford has such a lot to offer students, culturally, educationally and in terms of entertainment; we want the #BroadwayLockIn to really help them get a feel for the city.”

The #BroadwayLockIn is free to attend, but students are encouraged to pre-register at http://studentlockin.com/index.php/event/city/bradford – the first one thousand students will receive a goody bag on entry.

Students should provide proof of registration and bring along their valid student ID card for entry. The centre is also open to the general public during the #BroadwayLockIn.
