Bradford – Car enthusiasts are to be treated to a host of British vehicles at this year’s Bradford Classic & Performance Car show in August.
The 2015 Classic is to feature a legendary Jaguar E-Type, stylish Triumph TR3 and a beautifully designed MGB GT.
Car lovers will be able to see an elegant Bentley Brooklands, a powerful Jaguar XJS 4 litre Convertible and a rare, Domino HTR.
The Bradford Classic will show an unusual Austin Mini Clubman Hearse and a radically designed, Vauxhall Firenza Droop Snoot.
There will be several examples of the popular Ford Capri coupe and a couple of Mini Coopers.
Older people will be able to take a trip down memory lane by viewing some beautiful examples of Bradford-built Jowetts.
Visitors to City Park will also see some European classics including a sharp handling Bertone X1/9, a Citroen Traction Avante, one of the earliest front wheel drive production cars, and a rally inspired, Lancia Fulvia 1600 HF.
Those who like American cars can view a Chevrolet Camaro and a Pontiac Trans Am KITT from the 80s television series, Knight Rider.
People will be able to see a DeLorean which has been converted into replica of the car which started in the 1980s classic, Back to the Future.
The Bradford Police Museum will stage special photographic exhibition featuring police and support vehicles from the past 100 years.
Children will be entertained by giant Jenga, Connect 4, face painters and a climbing wall.
Live music will be provided by Bradford band, The Good Citizens.
Vintage clothing and wares will be sold at a special fair to be held in Bradford City Hall.
The 10th Bradford Classic & Performance car show opens in City Park on Saturday 15 August and runs from 10am to 4pm.

“There will be a real variety of cars on display and it’s great to see Bradford-made Jowetts featuring too.”
