Bradford – If you could not make it to Glastonbury last week, there is still chance to catch many of the acts at Bingley Music Live.
Headline acts Super Furry Animals, Idlewild and Rae Morris all took to the stage at last weekend’s Glastonbury Festival.
But fans can catch these acts and many more for a fraction of the price at the Bradford Council-run festival on 4-6 September, closer to home, at Myrtle Park.
Coun Imran Khan, Executive Member for Sport and Environment, said: “If people caught TV or radio coverage of Glastonbury, they will have had a taster of what to expect at Bingley and will have been introduced them to some of our newer acts. Bingley Music Live gives people access to these performers on home turf for a fraction of the cost of a large-scale event like Glastonbury.”
The other headliners include Labrinth and James with support from Embrace, Ash, Cast, Scott Matthews, Peter Hook and the Light, Carl Barat of The Libertines, The Beat and many more.
Tickets are just £49 for adult weekend tickets and £34 for child (3-12 years) weekend tickets plus booking fee with an opportunity to still pay in instalments.
