F1 Hospitality Events & Promotions and the Equality For Workers Union (EFWU) have become proud sponsors of Chapletown Juniors football club (CFYDC).

kjbkTalking about CFYDS, Director Dave Adams states: “The sole purpose of CFYDC (Chance) existing, is to make a difference in the lives of young people and adults living in Chapeltown and the surrounding areas. This will be by providing the facilities, resources and staffing for a range of educational, training and sports activities.

“CFYDC (Chance) aims to engage and actively assist in the development of young people and adults, so they are able to reach their fullest potential. This will also be done by creating opportunities, which enable the aspirations and dreams of those who are in need of them to be fulfilled; whatever their background and regardless of their history. It also aims to ensure future independence by capacity building and creating effective partnerships that would lead to progressive development and long term sustainability of the organisation for the benefit of young people and adults.

“We would like to thank F1 Hospitality Events & Hospitality and EFWU for kindly sponsoring our football kit for the Under 13’s team.”

Mizan Muqsit, who is General Secretary for EFWU and one of the founding partners of Leeds based F1 Hospitality Events & Promotions tells Urban Echo: “Shama and I are always looking at ways of giving back to the communities. We felt a sense of belonging here at CFYDC and were very impressed with the way the club was run by the management team in helping deprived children.

By sponsoring the Under 13’s team, we hope we can help CFYDC reach a wider platform where people can appreciate all the positive work that is being done here. There are kids from all backgrounds and races here and a real sense of community cohesion.”
