Family Appeal In Bradford Murder Investigation

Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a man was found in Bradford.

Mohammed Feazan Ayaz, 20 years old and from the city, was found in Saffron Drive in Allerton at about 4.25am on Monday. Emergency services attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team are continuing enquiries into the circumstances of his death, which is now being treated as suspicious.

A 34-year-old man from Bradford has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody at this time. His family have been informed.

Senior Investigating Officer Detective Superintendent Mark Swift, said:

“While our enquiries are still at a relatively early stage our information now suggests there were others involved in this man’s death, as he was found with a number of injuries which suggest he may have been assaulted.

“Local officers will continue to be in the area today and anyone who has any concerns is advised to speak with them.

“The family would like justice for Feazan and ask anyone with information to come forward and speak to the police. He was a father figure, a lovely son and brother.”

Active enquiries regarding the murder remain underway and we continue to appeal for witnesses.

Anyone who could assist this investigation is asked to contact the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team on 101, quoting crime reference 13190331451, or report online at
