It’s time to get those tickling sticks at the ready as we welcome back legendary comic Ken Dodd to St George’s Hall, Bradford on Sunday 20 December with his hugely popular Christmas Happiness Show.

Described by Michael Billington, of The Guardian as “an astonishing phenomenon: the last in a line of great music hall comics that stretches back from Dan Leno and George Robey to Max Miller and Max Wall”, Dodd is celebrating over 60 years as a professional entertainer.

A true comedy genius Ken Dodd continues to pack theatres over the length and breadth of the UK and he still loves nothing better than making audiences laugh. He says,

“Laughter is the greatest music in the world, and people come to my shows wanting to be entertained and escape the cares and worries of everyday life for a couple of hours (at least!). They certainly don’t want to be embarrassed or insulted with below the belt humour. They want to laugh and have a good night out – and so do I, which is probably why it works!”

This entertaining variety show for all the family is packed full of non-stop gags and a great selection of songs, all delivered in Ken Dodd’s unique and inimitable style.

Tickets are available from Bradford Theatres Box Office on 01274 432000 or visit bradford-theatres.co.uk for more information and to book online.
