A unique STREET food café has opened in Bradford.
The new Cha Cha Chaiiwala promises to spice things up as it opened on Ingleby Road last month.
The tea room, the first of its kind in Bradford, will offer customers ‘a sip of Kashmir’ as well as a variety of light snacks and sweet treats from the sub-continent
Mukhtar Ahmed, who owns the café with his friend Nasar Nabi, said the tea room prided itself on its distinctive Kashmiri tea.
Located in the Ingleby Road food court where the famous fish & chips chain Mother Hubbards is situated, as well as the soon to be opened gourmet burger café Two Guys, Mr Ahmed tells Urban Echo: “Cha Cha Chai is a concept that we have been thinking of for a while. The Kashmiri tea a very hot, milky, spiced tea, that’s quite sweet as well. We have also created jobs for the local youth who will running the café on a daily basis.
“And we do other stuff as well, Indian snacks like paratha rolls and samosas as well as desserts including Kheer, Rasmalai and fresh Gulab Jamun with ice cream. “
