Bradford Council is planning major resurfacing work on a main road in to the city.
The work on Toller Lane (B6144) is scheduled to take place from Monday 18 to Friday 22 February between 9.30am and 3.30pm on each of the days.
The road will be closed during these times from its junction with Carlisle Road (A6177) to its junction with Farcliffe Road.
Diversions will be in place via Carlisle Road, Church Street, St Mary’s Road, Oak Lane and Lilycroft Road.
People are advised to expect delays and disruption and to seek alternative routes.
A Bradford Council spokesperson, said: “We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by the essential resurfacing of this main road.
“Given the high volume of traffic using this bit of road, we have scheduled the work to take place on outside of rush hour and during the February half term holidays.
“The resurfacing of this road is necessary and although it is planned to take place outside of its busiest time, it is still expected to cause disruption. We are advising people to use alternative routes and to avoid the area if possible.”
