Woman who died In Wyke collision named by police

A woman who died following a collision on the A58 in Wyke has been named.  

Janet Molloy, 51, of Norwood Green, died from serious injuries after she was in collision with a Toyota IQ2 close to the Wyke Lion pub at about 1.10am on Sunday (24 April).

stream_imgThe vehicle was travelling towards Bradford at the time and its 19 year old male driver is assisting the investigation.

Acting Sergeant Mathew Tunney from the Major Collision Enquiry Team, said:

“We are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who saw the vehicle or Mrs Molloy immediately prior to it.

“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident and in particular anyone who saw either the vehicle or the pedestrian, who was thought to be with another person at the time, immediately before the incident to get in contact.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Major Collision Enquiry Team via 101, quoting log 105 of 24/4.
